Java For Mac 10.6.8
Posted : admin On 10/31/2019- When someone connects to the file share using a windows PC everything works as expected, using Mac OSX 10.5.8 is also working. When someone tries to connect with 10.6.8 it keeps telling the end user to download JRE 1.5 or higher, Java is already installed version 1.6.029 and no other updates available when we run the software update check.
- For Java versions 6 and below, Apple supplies their own version of Java. For Mac OS X 10.6 and below, use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java 6 for your Mac. For issues related to Apple Java 6 on Mac, contact Apple Support.

RE: Crash at Launch - Mac OS 10.6.8 Gray, depending on your Mac, you can look to upgrade to OS X Mavericks v10.9 for free if it meets minimum requirements listed here: http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/ If your Mac is unable to upgrade to Mavericks, you may still be able to upgrade to 10.7 for $19.99 listed available from Apple here: http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion Now if you are running Java 7 and still find ATL launcher not working.. you can review this post that I just updated that details how to change ATL Settings Java Path (Default Apple's Java 6) location to Oracle's Java 7 Path location. ATL Thread: http://forums.atlauncher.com/thread-3232.html Hope this helps. Good Luck! |
